Tour Guide Membership of Angkor National Museum
Angkor National Museum (ANM) organized an intensive training to Tour Guide during 27th - 31st July , 2009 under the project of "Tour Guide Membership of ANM". It was the 2nd training organized by ANM, of which the first one was held on 27th, April, 2009. |
 This five-day training was lectured by archeologists who have practically experienced on artifacts & conservation, assigned by the Royal Government of Cambodia. |
| There were 77 participants attended in this training, including Tour Guide and ANM staffs. The training was aimed to provide archeological knowledge and the museum information, especially the exhibition on artifacts; history and Khmer civilization to the participants who will potentially be the ANM tour guides in the near future. The training was divided into two parts: four days class lecture and one day on site practice by touring inside all 8 galleries. This touring provided the participants an opportunity to raise up enquiries to distinguish more information. |
