MEET THE TEAM
 

Mr.THLANG Sakhoeun- Conservation and Restoration Supervisor

He has specialized in Conservation & Restoration on Cultural Heritage with experience for almost 15 years. Currently, he is a deputy director in department of Archaeology and Prehistory at Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and he is also a lecturer of Preventive Conservation and Restoration, at Royal University of Fine Arts, Phnom Penh. Besides his roles mentioned, he has appointed by the Royal Government of Cambodia to be a supervisor at Conservation and Restoration Workshop at Angkor National Museum, Siem Reap. Under his supervision, there were over 300 artifacts have been restored in this workshop since the opening of the museum in November 12, 2007. He is very delighted to share his knowledge and experience about the Conservation & Restoration to the next generation.”

Mr. Seng Kompheak- Collection Care Supervisor

He qualified as an Archaeologist from the Royal University of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Archaeology in Phnom Penh in 2002. He has over 7 years of experience working in this field. He is a technical officer in the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, and he has appointed by the Royal Government of Cambodia to be a Supervisor in charge of Collection Care at the Angkor National Museum since November 2007. Besides his main role, he also involves in giving the lecture to local and international students/guests by touring around the museum. He has great desire to share his archaeological knowledge and experience with the rest of the world.”
